ARCUS Project was launched in 1995 by Ibaraki
Prefectural Government as its main organizer. It mainly offers an
artist-in-residence program as well as other programs such as
exhibitions, workshops, lecture series, concerts and film

In artist-in-residence program, ARCUS Project invites the artists
from all over the world through the public selection. ARCUS promotes
each artist’s activities by providing with the studio space and
