The teapot was inspired by Fong Choo, a noted potter working in the United States of America.
Yixing Inspired.
I consider the form to be very simple but the surface treatment was when the fun began. I really enjoyed playing with this piece.
The teapot measured approximately 4" by 6" high. so it is about the size on a man's fist. The surface decoration was by brush using pigments and oxides on the greenware. The piece was then thrown and glazed with a crystal clear, transparent, glaze.
